Because the basic activities of trade chambers are oriented towards the advancement of economy, they have to pay special attention to the education and training of staff. Through the creation of means for the continual education and professional training of business people, and the knowledge of current and relevant information from the fields of decision making in business, strategic management, quality management, business organisation, finances, as well as marketing and control, education becomes an important component in the advancement of economy.

The need for continual education of managers and professional advanced training of operative employees is becoming stronger and stronger, especially in technically advanced and export-oriented companies.

Market demands on the one hand, and competition on the other demand new ideas and new knowledge from managers and other employees, which can only be acquired through organised and permanent education and advanced training.

Because of this the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through its Institute for Education, adapts efficiently and capably to the continual changes in the fields of techniques, technology, organisation, marketing and control, and, on this basis, organises adequate programmes of professional training and additional education for company managers and operative employees.

The Institute is continually improving its programmes, both in their content and execution, in collaboration with and with the help of numerous local and foreign educational, advisory and university institutions.
